“I’m writing stories”

“Whoa that’s nice, what kind of stories?”

“Love stories, children’s love stories”

“But that’s absurd! Children’s don’t fall in love!”

“They don’t, but I’ll bet they are very familiar with the feel”

“No they don’t!”

“Yes they do”

“….”

“Uhm, here’s a sample: friendship, is there any love in it?”

“Yea, but it’s different…”

“What’s love means to you?”

“Umm, it means an affectionate feeling between a man and a woman.”

“How about a mother’s to a child?”

“Yes, it is love too”

“So, I could write a story about a mother’s love to a child and calls it a mother’s love story? “

“I-I suppose you could, but then, others would think that as a romantic story”

“After they read the book, they wouldn’t; in fact, they would have a more broad understanding of the meaning of love, right?”

“Yea, but why don’t you just simply change the title?”

“Because I’m trying to put the commonly agreed meaning of that word back to its original state, the broad meanings of the word love.”

“That’s rather complicated; I’d prefer a much simple way.”

“Such as?”

“Tell them directly that the word has other meanings, not just romantics”

“I’ve done talking to their ears, kid, and it’s not working. Now, with this love stories, I’m going to talk to their heart.”

“Okay, would it be a success?”

“I hope so"
